How to Choose Photos of a Deceased Loved One for His Wake
- 1). Use your loved one's wedding photo. If she and her spouse were happily married until death parted them, consider putting the wedding photo in a solitary frame. It has special significance and can be prominently displayed.
- 2). Put in a photo of your loved one engaging in his favorite hobby. For example, if he was fond of fishing, you may want to include a picture of him after he caught a big fish. If a hobby was important to him, photos that represent it should be important enough to be displayed at his wake.
- 3). Include any photos of the deceased person's children. If possible, put in photos of your loved one with her offspring. It will be nice for everyone to see the family pictures of those the deceased loved the most.
- 4). Add a photo of his favorite pet. Many pets are considered members of the family, and are adored enormously.
- 5). Include a photo of your loved one with her best friend. A best friend can be incredibly important in a person's life, and should be treasured. While some survivors might opt to restrict such photo collages to family only, think about including a picture of your loved one's best friend if she was considered just like family.
