Five crowns will be at stake come coronation night. Last year's golden batch of winners, led by Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner up Ariella Arida, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, Miss Supranational 2013 Johanna Datul, and Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 Top 10 finalist Cindy Miranda, brought immense pride to the country by doing well in their respective international competitions.

The 40 candidates of this year's Binibining Pilipinas recently turned a mall store into a fashion show ramp, giving spectators a preview of the much-awaited coronation night on March 30. The beauty queen hopefuls were at the Glorietta 2 branch of JAG Jeans, a sponsor of the pageant, to choose pieces to take home.

After shopping and entertaining media interviews, the candidates put on an impromptu fashion show wearing their new jeans and tops. Reigning Miss Universe Gabriela Isler of Venezuela, one of the special guests in the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 pageant, arrived in Manila via Philippine Airlines PR103 on Thursday, March 27. Gabriela be one of the judges during the pageant and will help crown this year's winners.

There are 40 contestants, but on March 30, 5 crowns will be at stake: Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas-International, Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism, Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational, and Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental.
