When was your last cup of coffee? I'll bet that your last cup was not Fair Trade Coffee. You were not looking out for the communities of the earth. And if your last cup of coffee was fair trade, then €Great for You!!!€ Did you like the taste of your last cup of coffee? Was it special? If you're like me your last cup of coffee was shortly after you woke in the morning. Morning is the best time for your first cup of coffee of the day. Morning is the best time of the day for your first cup of fair trade coffee. Ok, morning is the best time of day for your first cup of coffee.

The first cup of coffee of the day is your most important cup of coffee. This is the cup that wakens your taste buds for the day and stimulates your mind. Your first cup of the morning is best when it is fair trade coffee and even better when it is organic. Choosing the right roast of coffee is important. Choosing the right blend of coffee beans is important. Choosing the fact that you drink fair trade coffee is essential.

The fact that you choose to drink fair trade coffee and organic coffee, over commodity coffee, shows that you're thinking about the health of our planet. You think about the communities of the earth. Buying fair trade estate grown coffee gives testament to the fact that you believe in earth friendly coffee. You care about the people, the people who support the coffee supply chain, the growers, the farmers, the workers, the roasters, as well as the shippers. This is important as we are all members of the earth's community of people. We need to find it in our hearts to support each other in our daily efforts of survival, even when our politics and communities are differing. It is the survival of people that is important not the capitalistic growth and ideology of our governments and corporations.

Few coffee drinkers think about this. Most drinkers of a cup just sip and continue on with their busy thoughts. Few people think about the coffee supply chain when they sit down for their first vital sip of coffee every morning. I know that it is hard to focus on the world around us and the people who fill this planet first thing in the morning. After all, first thing in the morning we are bombarded with our own realities, such as what we have in front of us for the day. We are focusing on our busy schedule for the day. We are realizing that there is so much negative energy throughout our planet that the little facts of others is hard to grasp on to.

I know that I think of all these things every day, the hopelessness, the negative vibes, and the poor condition of peoples lives. First, I think about the great aroma of the fresh brewed cup of coffee in my hands as I raise the cup close to my mouth. I think about that amazing burnt nutty aroma as I breathe in just before the hot cup and black elixir reaches my lips. Second I think about the heat and the flavor of the first sip as the coffee enters my mouth filling me with the hot and bitterness I cherish. Third, I think about how lucky I am that I support the people and communities of this planet. Even if it is just in a small way. Even if my support of communities throughout the world is by what I purchase, I am glad of that. I am glad that I believe in supporting fair trade coffee and a true global economy. I hope that you do too!

This is important to me. Buying earth friendly coffee is important to me. I hope to convince you that it is worth your support as well too. The choice is yours. You choice if you are a supportive person in the coffee supply chain. It is your choice if the organic coffee farming community is allowed a fair living wage, as well as sustainable living conditions. It is your choice if you wish to be part of the earth's world economy and community. These are decisions that we make every day. It is your choice to buy Fair Trade Coffee. It is your choice to support Earth Friendly Coffee .

I choose fair trade coffee. I choose organic coffee. I choose to support the people of the planet. It is the community people of the earth that matter, not the political entities, not the country entities, but the people.
