When there's the choice to, Resist, do something, or let it go, What will we do, Which way will we blow? Sometimes it's the case, That God's to be given, Room for His space, Now, let everything be for-given.
*** The despairing life is what makes us run, But within God we have everything to cope, Because our LORD has revealed His Son, And everything in Him is bound in hope.
*** If we parent without thought, We get a child to the letter, But if we train them in God's ways, We grow them for the better.
*** Never underestimate the power of an encouraging word, From a mentor or someone trusted we feel freer than a bird, Come on now, you know it, there's no time to wait, Today is the moment; it's never too late.
*** Lowest desperation and highest command of fear, Proclaims the need within the vessel to hold to Him so dear, When we call upon His Majesty on High, Then somehow we retrieve the grace again to fly.
*** My life's not my own anymore, I can say, I surrendered it long ago and now every single day, I count what is lost only a gain, Because with Christ my life's spiritually sane.
*** Complain, compare, compromise if you must, Know now however they make your joy dust, But when you rise above the worldly way, Quickly you find you have a good day.
*** Love's much more than romance, fine words or attraction, Love looks deeper and is compelled by surrender to act, It concentrates, commits, and is concerned, And resolves to focus, never give up, and appropriately react.
*** Hugs are a tool for the transfer of affection, With each one we grow more sincere, Hugging helps us be really real, With all those we hold so dear.
*** One day there'll be no suffering, That day no pain will be known, Today we live as we endure all our buffeting, 'Til that day when eternity's glory is shown.
*** How wonderful to be weak; so we may, again, draw on God's abounding strength.
LORD: In my weakness is Your Strength, As I surrender I have Your Grace, You still me so my poise has length, And then I can endure this day's pace.
AMEN.
LORD, give me strength.
*** Growing in GOD, Receiving a Divine nod, Is the very purpose of life, But it's certainly sure, We show God the door, And instead of blessing it's strife.
We learn many times, God's grace reminds, Of the consequences of going our way, But growing in the LORD, Is a practice adored, Holding every fear at bay.
*** LORD: Take me in to Your Holy embrace, As I battle and resist and foolishly chase, These rainbows of wrong You call me release, Because only with You is there any sense of Peace.
AMEN.
