On a cold March morning in 2007, Stitch and Bitch London, London's friendly knitting group wrapped the four lions at the base of Nelson's Column in hand knitted scarves. The event was the culmination of a fund raising event for Cancer Research UK. Knitters from all around the world sent their swatches that were sewn together to create over 300 feet of scarf for the lions of Trafalgar Square.
