  While some couples opt for elaborate weddings, others prefer to have a modest, inexpensive ceremonies and walk away with a memorable experience. Reasonably priced chapels are available in large cities such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Locations with mountain scenery, including Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Golden, Colorado, also have budget-conscious wedding chapels that offer scenic views of the surrounding mountains.
  
  

Chapel of the Bells

• Situated in the Entertainment Capitol of the World, the Chapel of the Bells offers wedding services in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area and has been open since 1957. This chapel features inexpensive wedding packages, such as the "I Do" package, which includes background music and a wedding minister for $135, as of fall 2010. For an additional $50, wedding couples have transportation service from the chapel to the marriage bureau to sign the marriage license and a hotel of the couple's choosing. Other services the chapel offers includes tuxedos and bride's dresses, DVD recordings and flowers.
  
  

Chalet Mountain Wedding Chapel

• Gatlinburg, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee, is home to the Chalet Mountian Wedding Chapel. This mountainside chapel offers rates as low as $350 for wedding packages, as of 2010. This package includes a minister, photographer, wedding coordinator and up to 10 guests. Couples can cover 30 more guests for an extra $10. Outdoor wedding pictures are taken by a 25-foot waterfall on the chapel's property and a gazebo that appears to be floating on trees. The legs of the gazebo are hidden by the surrounding trees, which causes the floating effect. Reception areas include an indoor hall and outdoor courtyard area.
  
  

Albertson Wedding Chapel

• The Albertson Wedding Chapel is on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California and has been since the 1970s. This chapel has been featured on CNN. Wedding package rates start at $245, as of 2010. Packages at this price, called the Classic Civil Wedding Package, include a minister, flower, bridal changing rooms, wedding coordinator and complimentary parking. Four guests may attend with this package. For an additional $99, the chapel provides a California marriage license, which saves the couple time from going to the L.A. County Courthouse. Prices for the chapel increase on weekends and holidays.
  
  

Foothills Wedding Chapel and Banquet Room

• The Foothills Wedding Chapel in Golden, Colorado, offers couples the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop for their wedding ceremony. As of 2010, this chapel offers wedding packages for $425, which covers a wedding minister, dressing rooms and up to 30 guests. The amount of time a couple has the chaple for this package is 90 minutes. A banquet hall is available for receptions, but this costs an additional fee. Other wedding services include tuxedos, ceremony invitations and space for the wedding rehearsal.
