How to Put an Output RSS in a Post for WordPress
- 1). Log into your Wordpress blog. From your Wordpress dashboard click the "Settings" button on the left-hand side of the window.
- 2). Select "Reading" from the Settings menu. The Reading options control how your content will be delivered to your readers.
- 3). Edit the number in the "Syndication feeds show the most recent" text box to increase or decrease the number of posts that will stay cached in your RSS feed.
- 4). Select the "Full Text" option to display the full text of your post in your RSS feed. Select "Summary" to display the first 55 words. Use the "Summary" option if you want your readers to visit your blog to view the full post.
- 5). Select the options you want displayed in your enhanced feed from the "For each article in an enhanced feed, show" dialog. Enhanced feeds will display extra content---such as keywords, tags, and social media sharing options---when delivered to your readers.
