How to Remove the Arms on a GE Profile Dishwasher
- 1). Open up the GE Profile dishwasher door. Pull the bottom rack out of the dishwasher so you have access to the lower spray arm.
- 2). Grab the center of the lower spray with one hand, and lift up until it stops. Rotate the lower spray arm counterclockwise until it releases completely from the dishwasher.
- 3). Push the tab on the end of each upper rack rail with your finger, and pull the rail end caps off the rails. Pull the upper rack out of the dishwasher and place it upside down on the counter. The spray arm on the bottom of the rack should point to the ceiling.
- 4). Remove the plastic securing screw in the center of the middle spray arm with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Lift the middle spray arm away from the bottom of the upper rack.
- 5). Turn the upper spray arm securing screw counterclockwise with the screwdriver, and pull it away from the top of the dishwasher. All three spray arms are now ready for a thorough cleaning.
