Fix A Corrupted Registry In Order To Prevent Needing A Windows Reinstall

Someone asked me how he should go about reinstalling his Windows operating system.
He told me someone had said his computer had a corrupted registry and he would have to reinstall the Windows operating system so the computer would run properly again.
Actually, he was able to get his operating system back to running as good as new without reinstalling Windows.
In this article, I will explain how he did it.
It is true; a corrupted registry will cause problems with the way a computer operates.
Usually, the first sign a registry has corruption present is the computer starts to perform very slowly.
This happens because registry corruption is actually registry misinformation.
When the registry feeds the computer misinformation it will stall.
Then, it will look for the proper information again.
If it does not find it, it will stall again.
Eventually, after several stalls the computer will usually find the information it is looking for.
Then, it will look for its next operation.
Many Consecutive Stalls The series of many consecutive stalls appear to the outside world as a computer that is simply running slowly.
Sometimes, the computer does not find information it is looking for at all.
Therefore, the computer will stall endlessly as it looks for this needed information.
These endless stalls manifest themselves as a computer freeze, or sometimes a computer crash.
A Reinstall May Not be Needed It is true; reinstalling the Windows operating system will take care of matters.
However, this is the nuclear option.
Most times, in fact 99.
9% of the time, cleaning the registry corruption from the Windows operating system is all that is needed.
This can be done with a registry cleaner.
Registry cleaners abound on the Internet.
There are even those that are free.
I personally avoid free registry cleaners or even cheap ones because I have seen them actually create problems instead of repair them.
When registry corruption is cleaned out of the Windows operating system's registry, there is no reason for the computer to be stalling.
Because of this, the computer's performance will return to the way it was before registry corruption started to build.
In fact, the person who asked me about reinstalling his Windows operating system said his computer was running as good as new after he used a registry cleaner.
While the term "as good as new" is a very high accolade, I, too, have witnessed complete computer resurrections after registry corruption was removed from its Windows operating system.
So, taking care of your registry is a very important piece of business.
However, I have seen occasions where the operating system was too far damaged by registry corruption to be repaired.
In these cases, a Windows reinstall was necessary.
This scenario is rare but it does happen from time to time.
Bear in mind no damage is being done to the computer by registry corruption it is totally a Windows issue.
