How to Make Icing Colors
- 1). Think about the design of your cake or cupcakes and decide what colors of icing you want to make.
- 2). Go to the store and buy white and or chocolate icing along with a basic food coloring kit.
- 3). Gather your supplies and place some of the icing from the container into the small bowls or ramekins.
- 4). Use a toothpick to slowly add the food coloring of your choice to the icing in the bowl. Mix in the color until it reaches the desired color and consistency.
- 5). Use another bowl and repeat steps 3 through 4 to make another color of icing. Make all the colors of icing you need before you ice your cake.
- 6). Ice your cake and enjoy.
