Your skin wont dry up and crack.
You can maintain proper skin moisture by using skin creams that promote skin hydration.
You do not have to use expensive products, an affordable product will do a good job.
When you take a shower, you should apply emollient creams immediately so you can lock in the moisture received from the shower.
This will help you stop the constant itchy feeling.
You also have to avoid using detergents.
Most detergents contain petrochemicals which can be harsh and abrasive to your skin.
When washing your hands, try to use water alone.
Only use detergents / soap only if you have to.
Otherwise just use water.
Also use antihistamines and anti-inflammatory creams.
This will keep the itching under control but it wont solve the problem.
The thing is, all these treatments just target the symptoms, they do very little or nothing at all to get rid of eczema.
