How to Fix PSP Faceplate Scratches With Stainless Steel Cleaner

    • 1). Remove any game disks from the PSP and then turn it off. Unplug any headphones or connector cables that may be connected to the device and then turn it over.

    • 2). Slide the back battery cover off of the left side of the unit and then lift the battery out of its compartment.

    • 3). Dab some of your stainless steel cleaner over your microfiber cloth. Make sure it is moist but not dripping wet. Because stainless steel cleansers are very powerful, a limited amount is needed for your PSP.

    • 4). Turn your PSP face up and gently wipe your PSP faceplate with the cloth, making sure you cover all areas of the screen. Be sure to avoid running the cloth over the power ports on the device, as they are very near the faceplate. Continue wiping the faceplate until all scratches are gone. You may dab the tip of a cotton swab in the cleanser and use that to remove particularly small or stubborn scratches.
