Alternative Healing Used by Tiger Woods and the Catholic Church
Healing is not only medicine.
Today when we talk about healing we are usually referring to medicine that has to be taken in one way or another. Healing can take place in so many ways and on different levels:
* Physical Healing
* Mental healing
* Spiritual healing
Many of our problems start on the mental plane where we have believes about ourselves and the way we view life. We were told things by our parents, teachers, church or friends that formed our life and become a self fulfilling prophesy.
Changing your past and your future.
Whatever you did in the past will have an effect on the future and if your actions in the past was not of the highest intention you can be sure it will come back to you in one way or another. The choice is yours what to do with it:
* Deny it
* Fight it
* Admit it
Both denying and fighting something you did will not bring you any happiness. If you have the guts to stand up and face your problem you also have the best chances to heal it as well.
I remember when I was a small boy in school and I poked a hole in one of the balls belonging to the school. It took me a long time to decide to go and tell the teacher that it was me who had done the damage. To my big surprise the teacher did not even get mad. Lesson learned - Tell the truth!
You can not undo what is done already but you can certainly change the future effects of what will happen to both yourself and other people. By telling the truth you will heal both the past and the future.
A world of change
Look at what the world is experiencing at this time:
* Tiger Woods is confessing his sexual addiction
* The Catholic Church is admitting the child abuse
The only way for both Tiger Woods and the Catholic Church to survive is to face the world with what they did and be totally honest about it. Honestly, I would not like to be either Tiger woods or the Pope at this time.
How shameful can it be to admit to the whole world what you have done completely wrong and beg for forgiveness. This certainly takes a lot more guts than confessing to your teacher.
I honer both the Pope and Tiger woods for the great example they have set for the world and hope that many more people will stand up and heal themselves and others physically, mentally and spiritually.
