    • Have guests bring articles that begin with single letters from phrases or words such as “Best Wishes” or “Congratulations.” The packaged articles should be marked with the letters and arranged to spell out the phrase or word during the party. Decorations for this theme are simple -- have the letters of the message printed out in huge and colorful letters on a streamer, and fill the area with the gifts. Print the bride’s name over her chair in her wedding color motif. Have guests write short messages to the bride and groom on a plain white tablecloth, and then give it to the bride as a souvenir.

    Lingerie Shower

    • Lay tables out with fresh flowers and designate guest seating assignments with potpourri sachets. Since this is a feminine theme, lots of flowers are essential around the area.     • Guests should bring two bottles of wine. Place one in a wine rack for the party, while the other is given to the bride as a present.
