- All employees and are protected from employer retaliation if a violation is reported. You may view the employer's safety and health records upon request and ask for information regarding on-the-job hazards and the techniques used to reduce harmful situations.
- Your employer is responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment and must comply with all OSHA standards. When hazardous or unhealthy conditions exist, the employer must take action to correct the situation. Employers must train workers in safety and health methods when required by law.
- If you believe your workplace is unsafe or regulations are not being followed, a complaint may be filed with OSHA. Complaints can be made anonymously and you can ask OSHA to perform an on-site inspection.
