Turnbull and Asser is known worldwide for its tasteful designs manufactured from high quality materials to exceptional standard.
Established in London in 1885, the company has been shirtmaker to successive Princes of Wales including Prince Charles and each shirt bears testament to this with a label proclaiming "By Appointment to HRH The Prince of Wales".
In fact Prince Charles received the right to grant Royal Warrants in his own name upon marriage to Princess Diana and Turnbull and Asser was the first to be awarded.
The company is best known for its shirts, which are available both bespoke and readymade.
However, Turnbull and Asser offers a complete range of menswear products.
The shirts and ties are all made in its own factories in England, but other products are mainly sourced from UK companies.
Other than Princes of Wales, Turnbull and Asser has supplied shirts and other garments to such distinguished people as Sir Winston Churchill, David Niven, Ian Fleming and his creation James Bond.
In fact, when Sean Connery was outfitted for his first 007 adventure Dr No, the shirtmaker devised a special cuff for the shirt consisting of a turnback that was fastened with buttons rather than cufflinks as is normal.
This association with James Bond has continued to the most recent incarnation, with Daniel Craig sporting a Turnbull and Asser dress shirt while playing high stakes poker in Casino Royale.
While retaining its Jermyn Street flagship store, where it has been since 1903, the shirtmaker is also located in Harrod's, on 57th Street in New York, as well as Beverly Hills.
