LED Watches have become one of the most popular watches in modern society. LED Watches belong to electronic watches. They are binary watches. Binary watch does not refer to those the numbers on it, say 1 to 12. It refers to the two states of LED, which is the most primitive binary representation. 1 represents that LED light is on, and 0 represents that LED light is off. But, they are afraid of water. Even though, they have waterproof printed at the back, you will need a new watch if it gets water. Yes, there are a lot that we need to pay attention to. Here in this post, we are talking about how to maintain your LED Watches.

[1] Keep LED Watches at Room Temperature.

There are two good reasons to keep your LED Watches at room temperature: timing accuracy and LCD panel display. Firstly, there will be a timing loss under different temperature. When electronic watches is under the temperature of 25 ~ 28 , the timing error is within a second for each day and night calculation; when the temperature is below 0 or above 50 , the time will be two seconds lower every day and night. Second, LCD panel display may get damaged under extreme temperature. If the temperature is up to 60 , the LCD panels will become black; if the temperature is below 0 , the LCD panel will not work. Therefore, in winter, it is better to keep electronics watches on the wrist to keep it timing correctly by body's temperature. In addition, extreme high temperature and extreme low temperature will cause battery leakage and corrosion of the watch.

[2] Change the Battery if It Dies.

The lifespan of electronic watch batteries is generally up to one year and more. However, the light on the watch is a high power consumption item. Only one second of power consumption of the light is equivalent to an hour and more timing of the watch. If the battery is dying, the light becomes dim, or the number displaying will become dim or even disappear. On changing the battery, it is better to get it done at the watch repair shop if you do not know how to do it. There are so many batteries available at the market. Be careful to choose the right one.

[3] Go to Repair Shop Instantly.

Do not press the button with excessive force which will cause the failure of the button. The lifespan of the LCD Panels is up to 5 to 7 years, and they need to be changed then. If the battery is discharged, remove it instantly to avoid corrosion by fluid flow. Go to the repair shop in time when you find that the light does not shine, or the button fails, or a big timing error. This phenomenon will cause by bad joints.

[4] Waterproof Issue.

Electronic watches, especially the digital electronic watches, are of poor water resistance. While "waterproof" may appear in the user manual or printed on the back of the watches, we still try not to let electronics watches to get contact with water.

It would be a disaster for electronic watches to get close contact with water as they are of electronic circuits and electronic components. This is also a big difference between electronic watches and mechanical watches. If it gets water, you need to get a new watch then.
