Truth be told, no one really relishes the concept of growing older, the effect of which are only too obvious on the largest (approximately 22square feet in adults) and most prominent (covering our entire body, literally from top to toe) of all our organs: our skin.
The skin is also, arguably, one of the most hardworking of human organs.
Just as the heart pumps blood and the brain runs the show, skin has the role of a water proof insulating shield  that guards the body from  extreme temperature, damaging elements, and harmful substances.
  Such an important and vital part of our daily lives should be well protected and cared for.
This translates to why skin care is among the biggest industries today, people are all  frenzy, searching and buying and trying what they hope will be the perfect product to preserve their precious skin, and retard or reverse the visible signs of aging (for instance age spots and wrinkles) that are inevitable to growing older.
The basic problem at the heart of skin aging is the loss of collagen and elastin that results in a loss of smoothness, firmness and important moisture content.
It is reasonable to conclude that an effective anti aging skin care product will be able to address this issue.
Unfortunately most people think that what that means is that they should use a moisturizer that has collagen and elastin content to replenish lost collagen and elastin in the skin.
