    • 1). Cut wooden dowels with a diameter of 1-inch to make four, 12-inch long pieces

    • 2). Mark one of the 2-inch wide by 1/2-inch thick pieces of wood at 24 inches. Use a chop saw, circular saw or hand saw to cut the wood at this mark. Sand both ends of each of the circular pieces with sandpaper.

    • 3). Make nine more 24-inch long pieces by using the first as a template. Lay the cut piece of wood on top of the next 2-inch piece and cut. Repeat this step until you have 10, 24-inch long pieces.

    • 4). Measure out 24 inches on the 1-inch wide piece of wood and cut. Repeat this step with one more piece of 1-inch wide wood. Use sandpaper to lightly sand all of the edges and ends on all 12 pieces of wood.

    • 5). Cut a 24-inch length of black nylon web belt. Apply a little bit of fabric fray stop to both ends of the fabric. Cut another 24-inch length of the nylon web belt and apply the glue to both ends.

    • 6). Lay the 24-inch long pieces of two-inch wide wood side-by-side on a flat surface. Cut a scrap piece of 1/4-inch thick wood and place it in between the first two 24-inch pieces to space the 24-inch wood pieces evenly. Place it in between the next two pieces of wood and continue this across the 10 pieces.

    • 7). Place the two nylon web belts across the pieces of wood. The belts should be placed approximately 3 inches inward from the ends of the wood pieces. Staple the belts onto the wood. Use two to three staples in each piece of wood to keep the belt secured to the wood.

    • 8). Place the 1-inch wide pieces of wood on top of the wooden tabletop on the outside of the belts. Use a drill to make 1/4-inch holes through the ends of each 1-inch piece and into the tabletop.

    • 9). Lift one end of the tabletop up slightly and insert a 1/4-inch by 1-inch carriage bolt through the top of the table and into the 1-inch wood. Repeat this step with the other three holes.

Find the center on one end of a 12-inch wooden dowel and drill a 5/16-inch hole into the center. Make the hole approximately one-inch in depth. Insert a 1/4-inch threaded insert nut into the hole. The threaded nuts will allow you to attach the legs to the table and remove the table legs when the table is not in use. Repeat this step for the other three wooden dowels.

Screw the four wooden dowel legs onto the carriage bolts on the tabletop. Turn the table over and stand it on its legs for a completed camping table.
