Why Grandpa Had Higher Testostone Levels Than You (And How To Fix It)
In this article, I'll explain why the old man had more testosterone than you...
and what you can do to fix the problem fast.
Problem #1: Stress.
I once it heard it said that today's man experiences more stress in a day than our grandfather's experienced in a month.
I don't know about you - but I work all day on a computer.
And when I get home I work some more...
on a computer.
When I'm not at the computer, I'm on my phone, or near the TV, or surrounded by a couple of crying babies.
It's never ending.
Your grandpa worked hard too - probably much harder than you.
But he didn't have to deal with the never-ending intellectual noise that we deal with on a daily basis.
The solution: Shut it all down.
Break free from technology.
It can be tough - but if you can completely unplug for just 5 minutes a day and do some simple deep breathing exercises in a calm quiet place, you'll do wonders for your psyche - and your testosterone levels.
Problem #2: Cell Phones I just finished reading "The 4 Hour Body" by Tim Ferris.
One of the most interesting chapters showed how men today have lower sperm counts than their grandfathers.
One of the culprits? Cell Phones.
Carrying a cell phone in your pocket (you know, near the family jewels) can dramatically reduce sperm count.
In fact, Ferris tripled his own sperm count when he simply stopped carrying a cell phone in his pocket.
Now, tripling your sperm count does not necessarily mean a tripling of testosterone levels, but you can bet if you sperm count goes up your testosterone levels will probably improve a bit as well.
The solution: Don't carry a cell phone in your pocket for extended periods of time.
Toss it in a backpack or strap it to your arm - just keep it away from the twig and berries.
Problem #3: Plastics Strength and performance coach Charles Poloquin believes high levels of plastics can lower testosterone levels.
Apparently people who drink out of plastic bottles a lot have high plastic level readings and lower testosterone levels.
True or not, we know our grandfathers didn't drink out of plastic bottles all day long.
The solution: Ditch the plastic bottles.
Problem #4: Lack of "Liver & Onions.
" Liver and onions is classic "grandpa" food.
This was the one meal I was never forced to eat because my mom was forced to eat this meal as a kid and she wasn't going to make us suffer the same fate.
But as it turns out, liver and onions are two foods proven to boost testosterone levels.
So while your grandpa ate a hearty testosterone boosting breakfast of liver and onions, most of us were raised on testosterone-sapping oatmeal and orange juice.
The solution: Cut out the junk food and get back the basics: Liver and Onions.
I don't mind onions, but I still won't eat liver.
That's why I supplement my diet with liver tablets.
To boost your testosterone levels, you may also want to consider supplementing with a desiccated liver tablet.
Follow these four "old school" tips and you can boost your testosterone levels naturally.
