Work Smarter, Not Harder - Work Less, Make More
Getting up every morning at five thirty, traveling for one hour to get to work, spending nine hours at the office and getting paid for eight was getting me down.
At a weekend seminar, a woman said to me "work smarter, not harder," as I was complaining about my employer's lack of compassion.
How can we do this? You can set yourself up with your own business; at that same seminar, I met two men who worked for "Betterware" selling door to door, what made them smarter was while they worked long hours they had a team of fifty distributors, and they received a commission for every sale made by all the fifty distributors.
They knew the meaning of the phrase work smarter, not harder.
These two men didn't do any physical work and compared with manual labor they are certainly working less for more.
Another example is having a business that is the internet-based type.
If you can afford it, you can use all the tools at your hand and pay companies or solo traders to write articles, pay-per-click, back links, video advertising, etc.
, this will have a cost, and the ROI or return on investment should more than meet the cost.
The right product or service when promoted can make a good income for anyone who wants to work less, earn more.
To work smarter, not harder with online business being able to outsource things such as article writing is a luxury that most solo traders can't afford and writing they're own is a necessity.
However, you can maximize the results by submitting good-quality articles to websites that get high page rankings on Google when searched.
I would recommend writing one article per day which for myself takes about one hour after checking for mistakes.
If each article gets 20 visits to your website, then you have 7300 visits per annum to your site and if 5% of these make a sale you have made 365 sales that year or one per day.
Each website will have its success rate, but what if you could write two articles a day or even three.
To write one article per day won't get instant success, but through time, you will get more visits with some of them returning more than once, and as your visits increase so do your sales, and now you can say that you work less, earn more.
The effort you put in, will get results in return, then can say that you work smarter, not harder, it is as much about consistency of effort than how you do it.
Success is yours if you want it, all you have to do is make the effort.
