Metallica brought their World Magnetic Tour to the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 18, 2009. A packed house along with a 360 degree stage with fans on all sides made for a great show. The band is in excellent form, roaming the large stage with energy and enthusiasm. Bassist Rob Trujillo especially exudes energy as he stalks the stage. Metallica played several songs from their latest CD Death Magnetic along with some of their classic hits.

Newer songs like "Cyanide" and "The End Of The Line" got great reception live, and of course staples like "Enter Sandman," "One" and the concert closer "Seek And Destroy" were met with universal enthusiasm. Their powerful set, along with openers Lamb Of God and Gojira made for a memorable concert.
