"Hey Brad, it's Megan. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate what you did for me. Call me because I'd really like to tell you in person."

See how that works? A little mystery to poke at his curiosity, and a direct relation to his self-interest. He'll want to call you to find out what it was he did for you that's made you so appreciative. That simple, short little phone call is going to spark his interest and he'll find it virtually impossible to resist giving you a call to see what's going on.

But stop! You can't just pull this out of nowhere...there are some guidelines and other processes you need to follow first, or else this can actually backfire.
