The cost of powering a home or business today only continues to increase, and if you think that energy rates are going to come down you're sadly mistaken. So now progressive minded interior design Orlando specialists are focusing on components that allow you to use less energy without effecting your comfort level and lifestyle.

After all saving energy is easy. Simply shut off your lights, turn down your heater or turn up the air-conditioning thermostat and then wait to see all the money you'll save on your bill. It's no fun waiting in the dark though while you're sweating through hot days and shivering on cold nights. So check out some of the latest products that deliver the same level of performance while slashing power costs.

As Use Water Heaters

As use water heaters make such good common sense that you have to wonder what took people so long to start using them. There's nothing magic or ultra high-tech here and you don't have to be a genius to see all the money that you could save by installing one either. As use water heaters simply heat the water as you need it, so they don't have a water tank that needs to be continually kept hot.

They come in a wide range of sizes from small units that can fit under your kitchen sink and that deliver boiling hot water on demand in smaller amounts, to larger units that can provide enough water to run two showers simultaneously. They're easy to install because they're compact and simply bolt to a wall and have easy hook up inflow and outflow water ports.

High Advancements in Windows

Dual-pane windows were a huge step forward in home energy savings. Particularly in homes that have a large volume of window space. Now of course there's broad range of energy-saving blinds and window covering systems out there that do a great job of blocking out energy waste but unfortunately they also block out the window itself.

So now there are gas filled dual pane windows that replace the standard air in the chamber between the two panes with special gas that inhibits thermal transfer. This alone makes a substantial difference but then the same windows can also have their frames filled with foam to make them even more energy-efficient. Then to top it off there are new high-tech glass coatings for the outside that block out heat but still let 100% of the light through.
