Mussoorie:A Hill Station
Mussoorie is a one of most beautiful and exotic location of the world. It is also known by the name of Queen of hills with respect to its natural beauty. It is located in at Uttarakhand in India, 29 Km far from the dehradun which is a capital of Uttarakhand. It is establish by British. At the time of British Empire, it is a hill station for the British people to spend their summer vacation in the shade of hills. There are lots of place to enjoy. There is an only place of India where every religion member lived and also have there religious temples. Mussoorie is not a big city but you can find so many marks of British emperors. There you can find Temples, Churches, Mosques and Gurudwara because the people of this city are not same in their religion. So here many languages speak by the peoples. Mostly language speak by the people is Hindi and English. Garhwali is a local language of there.
In 1960, at Mussoorie there is a first Tibet school of India was established here. Many of the Tibetan is located in Mussoorie at Happy Valley.

The first Surveyor General of India Mr. Sir George Everest residency and office both are situated at Mussoorie. The world highest peak Mount Everest was the named, in the name of Mr. Sir George Everest.

Dehradun railway station in the nearest railway station of Mussoorie and the Jolly Grant Air port is nearest airport. The best time visit this in summer April to June and in winter time there is heavy snow fall in the month of December to February. People avoid coming here at the time of monsoon in the month of July to September.
