CD Duplication/ DVD Duplication is a process which involves the burning or copying of digital information to a pre-manufactured recordable disc, CD-R/DVD-R respectively. This process is usually done when upto 1000 copies of a CD or DVD are required.

Earlier when people used to think about preserving their favorite memories or movies, the only option that they had was that of a video tape. But, with the advancement of technology, the advantages of DVD outweighed those of video tapes, simply because they used to get damaged and wear out with time. With CDs or DVDs, even the storage is easier as they take less of space and are easier to keep. Not to mention, the quality of picture and sound, which is higher on DVDs.

The difference between a CD and a DVD is their storage capacity. A CD has the capacity to hold 700 MB of data whereas a DVD can store upto 4.7GB of data. Hence, when you have a small data to be stored you go for a CD Duplication, but when the data is huge, one needs to go for a DVD Duplication. A single DVD-R can replace the need for 7 CD-Rs which can take up a lot of space in one's archive library.

Hence, in case you want to save your precious data and memories for future, CD Duplication and DVD Duplication are the best options.
