The Toyota Longhorn
Toyota's emblem looks a little like a longhorn steer, doesn't it? My experience with Toyotas has been uniformly positive over the years. I've owned two -- a 1985 Toyota Cargo Van and my current ride, a 1994 Toyota 4Runner. The Cargo Van is still running, with over 250,000 miles on the clock. The 4Runner is practically brand new -- just 138,000 miles so far. Previous experience is not a predictor of future performance, as they say in the investment world, but I'd be pretty comfortable buying a RAV4 for the long haul.
