Seek immediate medical attention- go to the ER and get a tetnus shot.

Call the police or Animal Control- Make a Report! 3.
Insist a police report be taken-if there is no report it did not happen.
Get a report.

Insist the dog be quarantined- Tell Animal Control to take the dog.
5.
Get a description of the dog- describe the dog to Animal Control.
6.
Take pictures or video of the dog and bite scene- a picture is worth a thousand words.
7.
Get the name, address of the dog owner- don't leave the scene until you get the owners name.
8.
Get the name and addresses of witnesses- look around for witnesses.
Get there names.
9.
Take pictures of the injuries- take a lot close ups, far away, the scene- the more the better.
10.
Preserve evidence like clothing- keep your torn or bloody clothing.
