How to Stop Spybot Loading
- 1). Click "Start," and type "run" in the "Search" field. Press "Enter."
- 2). Type "msconfig" in the dialog box that opens. Press "Enter" again.
- 3). Confirm that you want to open the program, or type the administrative password if the screen dims and Windows asks for permission.
- 4). Click on the "Startup" tab of the System Configuration Utility.
- 5). Deselect the box next to "Spybot - Search & Destroy" in the list of programs. Click "OK."
- 6). Restart the computer. Choose the option that will allow the computer to start using your custom settings without automatically running the System Configuration Utility.
