This is why it is essential to care for your childs teeth from an early age. Many think they should wait until their child experiences problems before visiting their dentist, you should not do this and you should start to visit your dentist with your children to make sure you can take the utmost care of your childrens teeth from the earliest point possible.

By visiting a Dentist from an early age, it can help to eliminate the fear of the dentist and establish a good dental routine that can be followed throughout their lives. Caring of your teeth is just as important as caring for the rest of your body, and often your teeth are the first thing people notice about you, so caring from them properly from being a child is of great importance.

Everybody will grow 2 sets of teeth, the first set is called milk teeth and second set is called adult teeth. Children have 20 milk teeth which generally begin to fall out between the ages of 6 and 7 years. These are then replaced with adult teeth. There are 32 adult teeth in total. A full set of adult teeth consists of; 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars and 12 molars. The last four of the adult teeth to appear are the 4 wisdom teeth.

Childrens teeth play an essential role in who they are as individuals. It is essential that they are looked after gently and carefully. By following the right dental routine, you can help prevent teeth and gum problems. To help with this you should try to make brushing teeth an enjoyable and fun experience for you and your children, maybe play a game, or have them brush to their favourite song, anything that can engage them in a fun and enjoyable brushing experience is helpful in the process of keeping their teeth as healthy as possible.
