• You can pick up games such as Silent Scope, Area 51 and all of the games in the Time Crisis series for a number of gaming consoles. To play any of these games, you'll need to buy a light gun, which emits a beam of light when you pull the trigger. This will connect to your console and often is included with the game if you buy it new. One of the perks in getting a light gun is that it is typically compatible with other light-gun games.
  
  

Rhythm Games

• While Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution are available at the arcade, you can always give the console versions of these rhythm games a try. They are available for a number of gaming platforms. You can even buy the Dance Dance Revolution dance mat so you can have the full experience at home. While these games and their peripherals tend to be a bit more expensive than other console games, they cost far less and are much easier to find than their hefty arcade cousins.
