How to Remove the Front Cover of a Samsung Refrigerator Icemaker
- 1). Unplug the Samsung refrigerator power cord from the wall outlet. Find the water shut-off valve handle behind the refrigerator, and turn it clockwise to stop water flow to the unit.
- 2). Press the “Ice Off” button on the display screen above the water dispenser. Open the freezer door, and use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the front cover to the icemaker. The screws are along the bottom of the front cover.
- 3). Grab the bottom of the front, and push upward to release the lower tabs. Pull the bottom of the cover toward you, and pull downward to remove the front cover completely.
