On November 10, 2009, Megan Sainsbury, a physical education teacher at Prospect High School in Saratoga, California, pleaded no contest to one felony count of attempted sexual penetration of a 17-year-old student.
Sainsbury was arrested in March 2009, and charged with kissing, hugging and sexting a 17-year-old female student. In a plea deal with prosecutors, Sainsbuy will spend a year in jail in exchange for the no contest plea.
