I once had a cat that loved the outdoors, in fact I think it spent more time outdoors than it did inside the house. It would come in to eat and sleep, but after he was through he was right back at the door, clawing and whining to go back out. That was fine, except he always seemed to pick an inconvenient time, and I'd have to stop what I was doing and let him out.
