Millions of people are trying to gain weight and build their frame.
Like most things, some are more successful than others are.
The people who are gaining weight and building muscle are very helpful and love to offer advice.
Unfortunately, most of the people that are struggling to gain weight will be better off ignoring this advice because their body is different than these people and they need to follow a different workout program than they do in order to gain weight.
Hardgainers need to realize that their bodies are different from most people and they need to follow a different training routine to achieve similar results.
This is because their muscles recover slower than other people's do.
They need more time to rest in between workouts.
When they follow the advice of someone who gains weight easily, this type of workout will overwork their muscles and force them to lift with tired muscles.
This will not allow them to gain weight and will make actually weaken their muscles rather than strengthening them.
A great workout routine for a hardgainer trying to build their frame is spending 3 to 4 hours in the weight room each week.
Each training session should not last longer than 1 hour.
This is the perfect amount of time to trigger muscle growth but also enough time to let the muscles rest and fully heal in between lifts.
Hardgainers also have to avoid advice that they read in magazines.
If the tips are just telling them proper form for a particular exercise that is fine for you to follow.
However, you should not follow a routine you find in these magazines as they are catered for people who gain weight and build muscle easier than you do.
