  The Genie Git-1BL is a singular-button remote controller to open garage doors manufactured after 1996. Programming

• The Genie Git-1BL is programmed by locating the "Learn Code" button and the "Radio Signal" button. Press and release the "Learn Code" button. The "Radio Signal" transmitter should begin to blink. Press the main transmit button after 30 seconds and the "Radio Signal" transmitter should flash solid. Press the transmit button once again after 30 seconds and the "Radio Signal" transmitter should shut out. Repeat for any other Genie access devices.
