Today many people who would like to own a holiday home but don't have the funds available to purchase a property outright are now considering resort ownership instead.  This is where although you do own a property you only do so for specific weeks of the year.  Then the property within the particular resort will then be owned by other people for other weeks of the year.  How many weeks you purchase to use the apartment or villa for will then determine the amount you have to pay.  

So if you are thinking about going this route to be the proud owner of your own holiday property what are the advantages of doing so?  Below we take a look at a number of these.

Advantage 2 – Just as with the other developments where you can instead purchase a property outright you will be provided with many wonderful facilities.  Along with swimming pools you will find that these resorts tend to have restaurants, bars and fully equipped fitness centres as well.  So you don't really need to leave the resort if you don't want to.  Plus you may find that organize a lot of special events.
