Hair Loss

• Dogs with mange begin displaying small, red hairless areas around the ears and eyes and lose hair.
  
  

Irritation

• The skin becomes severely irritated, forming pimples, thick skin and puss; this begins at the ear tips.
  
  

Scaling

• The irritated skin often becomes crusty and scaly around the eyes, mouth and front legs.
  
  

Itching

• The movement of the mites along with the irritated skin and infected sores lead to aggressive itching and scratching.
  
  

Dandruff

• Some milder forms of mange may appear as a serious case of dandruff.
