How to Seal the Ends of Micro Braids
- 1). Add a drop of nail glue to the end of the braid. Wait a few seconds to allow the glue to seal and dry before you let go of the braid. This method can be used on synthetic and human hair extensions.
- 2). Use a lighter to burn the ends of the braids to create a seal. This method can only be used on synthetic hair. Once the hair is braided to the ends, take the lighter and lightly singe the ends to melt the hair and create a melted, sealed knot.
- 3). Tie a knot at the end of the braid to seal the ends. This method can be used on synthetic and human hair extensions. After the hair is braided down to its desired length, take a small amount of hair and wrap it around the braid five to six times to create a loop. Then take the end of that strand, slide it through the loop and pull it down to form a small knot.
