The National Scrabble Association (NSA) defines a Scrabble club as a group of people who gather to casually or informally play the board game Scrabble on a regular basis. These players are not ready for tournament play, but still want to improve their skills or simply enjoy the game with friends and family. - The Boston Club #59 meets every Monday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and does not charge a fee for players to attend. The club provides boards, racks and Protiles, but players are welcome to bring their own boards and Protiles if desired. Players are encouraged to bring their own paper for score keeping, and chess clocks if they desire. Club size ranges from approximately 10 to 14 players every week, and players with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced are welcome.
