How to Check for Parole Warrants in California
- 1). Call the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on their warrants hotline at 916-445-6713. Provide the name of the parolee and inquire about their warrant status.
- 2). Contact a warrant lawyer in the county where the probation may have been broken. The attorney is able to search court records to see if a warrant was filed. The attorney will also be able to provide sound legal advice, all for a fee.
- 3). Search the online warrant database of the sheriff's department in the county where probation was broken. Some counties in California, but not all, provide this online service. Enter the name of the parolee and click on the search link.
- 4). Use a third party provider to search California court records for warrants. These websites are private businesses and charge a membership fee to search their databases. Pay the fee and enter the parolee's name into the search engine.
