    • 1). Roll a handful of fondant onto a smooth surface into a tube shape about a 1/2 inch thick. Cut off the ends of the fondant and set them aside. Fold the remaining fondant into a horseshoe shape.

    • 2). Apply a small amount of water to the cake board and place the horseshoe shape flat on the cake board.

    • 3). Take another handful of fondant and roll and press it into an oval shape. Brush a bit of water onto the center of the horseshoe shape and press the body oval onto the legs. It should now look like a headless and armless person sitting down. Poke a spaghetti noodle down through the body and legs to hold the body in place.

    • 4). Roll a half handful of fondant into a tube shape about 5 inches long. Cut the shape in half to make 2 arms. Brush a bit of water onto the sides of the oval and press the arm shapes on either side of the body.

    • 5). Roll some flesh-colored fondant into a 1-inch ball. Brush some water on the top of the oval body and press the head onto the body. Use another spaghetti noodle, if necessary, to hold the head onto the body.

    • 6). Mold 2 small 1/3 inch balls of flesh-colored fondant into balls. Press the balls into hand shapes using a fondant shaping tool. Brush water onto the arms and press the hands in place.

    • 7). Roll about 1/3 inch ovals out of fondant for feet. Press them against the legs to complete the figure.

    • 8). Add hair, clothing and facial features to the figure using a combination of food coloring, additional fondant and the fondant shaping tool to decorate the person.
