How to Set Up a Variety Store on eBay
- 1). Decide what types of products you want to offer. Many eBay sellers have had real success specializing in one or two types of products, while others have enjoyed success selling a wider variety of items.
- 2). Create an eBay account by going to the eBay website and clicking on the "register" option. You will need to supply basic information like your name, address and phone number.
- 3). Open a PayPal account by visiting the PayPal website and clicking the "Register" option. Many eBay buyers look for the PayPal logo, so having that option available can boost your sales when the store is up and running.
- 4). Log on to your eBay account and click on the "Site Map" icon. Go to the "Web Stores" section and click on "eBay Stores."
- 5). Click on the "Build Your Store" option and begin building your store. You will have the option to choose from many different templates and layouts. Be sure to choose an eye-catching layout and a memorable name for your store.
- 6). Keep at least a few auctions running at any given time in addition to posting your items in your eBay variety store. Keeping auctions perpetually in progress will drive more buyers to your store.
