3 Tips On How To Deal Or Cope With Stress

Stress. Who doesn't know it? If you're not stressed yourself, chances are you know someone who is. It is unnecessary to be stressed out all the time though, there are many ways to deal or cope with it.

I would like to give you some tips o how to deal or cope with stress:

1. Relax. It sounds easy, and it is, if you know how to do it. And it is really quite simple. A really great exercise is to tense up your muscles deliberately and then to let go. It is in tensing up fully that makes it possible for the muscle to relax. So take any stressed out part of your body, tense up the muscle for a few seconds and then let go. This is a great one to do in bed!

2. Become aware of what stresses you out, how and where you feel stress and take care of it right away with, for example, the exercise above. The key is to recognize it. Mindfulness is an excellent method to both find stress and deal with it too.

3. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is very effective in dealing with stress and anxiety. Interesting to note is that mindfulness is becoming more and more accepted in the scientific community and that at some CBT trainings, it is recommended to the participants.

In closing I would like to say this. Stress is not something you have to suffer from. There are many ways to deal or cope with it and I recommend you do! It's so relieving to notice that you become more relaxed.

Mindfulness is a great place to start. Pick up a book, read through it, learn how to do it (it's quite easy) and you'll start to notice effects quite quickly. Maybe it's all you need. Otherwise find a good CBT training and let them help you.

The thing about stress is that it has many negative effects. Among other things, it affects your productivity as well as your happiness and enjoyment of life. Being more relaxed feels good. It makes you more productive, makes you feel better and allows you to enjoy life a whole lot more.

And with this enjoyment in life you can move towards a better life. Now that the block of stress has been taken away, you'll have more energy, feel better, feel more confident and are able to do more things. The improvement that brings in your life then comes quite naturally.

So now you can make the choice to stay stressed or to make use of the easy ways to deal or cope with it.
