    • 2). Request the criminal record request form.

    • 3). Complete and return the form to the clerk.

    • 4). Show your ID to the clerk. If you are requesting a criminal report for someone other than yourself, you must supply the clerk with a notarized letter authorizing you to do so--but that person must be present, with their valid ID, when you receive the report.

    • 5). Pay the fee to process the criminal record. If you wish to receive a notarized copy of the criminal record, you must pay an additional fee.

    • 6). Receive the criminal records report. The wait time varies. Processing the criminal records report may take between five minutes and 10 days. Processing times are dependent upon upon the current workload at the individual branch of the requested criminal records report.
