Proteins are used to build muscle, which will help keep your body toned. Consume whole grain foods with each meal to provide fiber and energy.

When you sit and stand with your shoulders back and head high, you engage your core muscles, consisting of your abdominal muscles and lower back muscles. Strengthening your core muscles will help keep your stomach held in tightly, which places more emphasis on your chest and hips, creating an hourglass appearance.
