The Kinds of Cancer
There are many kinds of cancers which affect the individual.
Though there has been no verifiable proof, many are said to be predisposed to cancer if there has been any deaths from cancer in the family tree.
But despite that, many other cancers still grow and here are some of the most common ones today.
1)Cervical or ovarian cancer These kinds of cancer are exclusive to women.
Initially, there are cysts that grow in the uterine wall or on the fallopian tubes.
Like any cell, they can stabilize and multiply if they are able to latch on to a blood supply.
When they do metastasise, they form into tumours that create aberrant cells that attack other cells.
The common treatment for this is a hysterectomy or removal of the uterus and fallopian tubes of the woman.
2)Breast cancer You may find it laughable but men also have breast cancer.
This starts as painful lumps on the breast that grow in size and tenderness over time.
If left unchecked, it can quickly grow and thus create cancer cells and at the same time restrict the blood flow to essential organs such as the heart and lungs.
The common treatment for this cancer is a mastectomy or removal of the affected breast tissue.
3)Lung cancer Lung cancer is the failure of the lungs to properly extract oxygen from the air.
The cancer stems from either tumours in the lungs thus limiting its use or the sudden death of the cells that make the lungs do its work.
What happens would be the build-up of fluids in the lungs eventually making it collapse.
The only treatment known for this is the removal of the fluids and chemotherapy as the lungs are like balloons that once popped would be hard to return to its original state.
