Many beginners start out with the tippman 98 custom as its very affordable and extremely dependable.
I have seen people not clean them for months and it still fires fine.
You of course can upgrade to a much more expensive marker which will have more features.
Gas Supply: If your starting out you will most likely be purchasing a CO2 tank and these range from 12oz to 36oz.
If your more experienced and depending on which marker you purchase you may be limited to shooting N2 or compressed air.
There are advantages to shooting N2, but the tank will cost you about a hundred dollars more than a CO2 tank.
When you have obtained these pieces of gear you are ready to go paintballing after you purchase paintballs of course.
