Criminal Drug Charges in Montana Communities
Imagine being a parent of a teen in Montana, and imagine you moved there to get out of the big city to raise your kids in a better, and safer environment.
Now consider how you'd feel if all of a sudden, you discovered that there were drugs everywhere and kids in Junior High were already doing the wickedest of drugs, and amongst those local kids were friends of your own son or daughter.
All of a sudden Montana is not looking so good is it? Well, there is one heck of a Drug Problem in that area, it's a real problem to find workers that are not doing "meth" and we had a heck of a time finding good employees in both Bozeman and Billings.
I can recall once I was parked in my Motor Coach, attached.
I guess because I have CA plates, they considered me someone who might be bringing in drugs, and I did feel harassed.
I told one officer to go ahead and run the dogs around and through my rig, if he didn't trust I was legit.
Indeed, I guarantee the drug problem is a local issue, especially after talking with some of the locals near you and the fire department chiefs who have to put out homes which "explode" suddenly for no reason, obviously meth labs.
I met a kid in Missoula once, his face was all burned, the house he was in burned up (exploded), he denied it was a meth lab, but I am certain he was some sort of dealer, producer.
In Billings the drug problems are intense, it's horrible.
No, Montana is not the only place that has a crystal meth problem, but it is a big challenge there.
It's a huge problem in a lot of the colder states, and some say it's because the youths have nothing to do, or because there is no real job opportunity, but I think it's a bigger problem, one that has to stop.
Now then, let's go back to our scenario above.
You are trying to get your kids ready for college, make sure they get good grades, and perhaps even have them study for the SAT tests in weekend seminars.
And then all of a sudden you find out that your young adult, and graduating high school senior is being brought up on drug charges for being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong group of friends.
This isn't funny anymore, and this is a real problem for those communities and the families.
Please consider all this.
