"Once burned, twice shy.
" This may be what pops into your mind as you contemplate giving your ex a second chance.
A heartbreak, as those who have experienced it know, is not something anyone would happily jump in and risk, even in the face of terrible loneliness.
So why? What reasons are good enough for making up with your ex and give the relationship another chance? He/She Makes You Happy As you grow older, you will figure out and find exactly what makes you tick, makes you happy and what makes you feel alive.
It is unfortunate that such passionate feelings are triggered by precious little.
Your passion in life may be limited to one or two things and the people who make you incredibly happy are countable easily enough.
When you have found someone eligible to be your partner in life, one who makes you happy, any mistake in a relationship is worth working on, talking about until it is resolved.
There are many beautiful people out there but not all of them can make you blissfully happy.
Give your ex another chance if he or she does.
Your Family and Friends Like Him/Her When you fell in love, your judgment is sometimes clouded.
The emotions are too strong and powerful, it is difficult to trust yourself.
One thing you can always count on is family and friends' opinion.
They may be tiresome or even quarrelsome but at the end of the day your family and friends are always looking out for you.
When they tell you a guy or a girl is not good for you, you may have noticed that they are usually right.
It is the same case with this dilemma.
Should you get back with you ex, making up and continue with your relationship? If your family and friends say, Yes, you should, you probably should give it another go.
The Reasons Behind the Breakup are In the Past This is not in the majority of the case but nor is it a rarity either.
Most second chance relationship cases that work, usually work because the couples have resolved whatever problems that had led to first breakup.
It may be communication problems which are now managed since both parties have learned to be more open and committed to talk regularly.
It may be the stresses of a long distance relationship which are now answered by one of parties moving in to the partner's city.
Your ex might be unemployed the first time you were together and the fact took its toll on the relationship.
Now that he or she has been holding down a steady job, making up seems like the natural course to take.
He/She Brings Out the Best in You That does sound quite dramatic but think about it.
Does he or she make you lead a more regular life? Maybe he or she doesn't exactly tell you what to do or what to eat but simply by being with him or her, you change your habits a little bit to compromise and find yourself better for it.
Is he or she the social butterfly who has now taught you how to relax better in others' company? Or perhaps being with your ex calms you down and makes you able to lead a more regular, less hectic life.
If one of these is the effect your ex has in you, making up is definitely something you need to consider seriously and if possible, work on diligently!
